Event for the presentation of the Results of the Green Project and celebration of Copaíba's 20th anniversary will take place next Thursday
The 9 years of the Verde Novo project, sponsored by Petrobras through the Petrobras Socio-environmental program, have brought great results to the South of Minas and East Paulista regions in terms of forest restoration, production of native seedlings and environmental experience, serving students from different public schools.
The Verde Novo project aims to contribute to the restoration and conservation of the Atlantic Forest of the Peixe and Camanducaia river basins. One of the main actions of the project is to support landowners in the region for the recovery of native vegetation on their properties.
In view of the positive impact of the project and in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Copaíba Environmentalist Association, the presentation of these results will take place next Thursday, January 23rd. The event will be attended by Verde Novo's partner owners, public representatives of the municipalities served by the project, supporters of the work carried out for forest conservation and restoration, representatives of Petrobras and members of the institution.
The event will take place at the Municipality of Estância de Socorro, Rua Antônio Leopoldino, 197 – Centro, starting at 7pm.
