Campaign Copaiba Giving Day Mobilizes for the restoration of the Atlantic Forest

Mobilization integrates the Giving Day and invites society to contribute directly to the goals of restoring the Atlantic Forest in alignment with the commitments of COP30

This week, Copaíba kicks off the campaign. Copaiba Giving Day 2025, This mobilization invites society to actively participate in the restoration of the Atlantic Forest. With the motto "Planting today for the Atlantic Forest of tomorrow," the initiative is part of a national movement that, since 2013, has encouraged solidarity actions throughout the country.

This year, the campaign gains even more relevance in light of global discussions on climate and sustainability. "While the world follows the decisions being debated in..." COP30, ”We want to show that each person can contribute concretely to climate balance,” says Flavia Balderi, executive secretary of the Copaíba Environmental Association. According to her, each donated tree is not just a symbolic gesture, but a direct step towards internationally agreed environmental goals.

The organization emphasizes that individual engagement has an immediate effect on the recovery of ecosystems. Copaiba Giving Day "It's an opportunity to bring the population closer to the environmental cause. When someone decides to plant a tree through the campaign, they are helping to rebuild degraded areas and ensuring a better quality of life for this and future generations, ours and that of all other species," explains Flavia Balderi.

The expectation is that millions of Brazilians will be encouraged to participate in solidarity initiatives, and Copaíba seeks to expand this reach to strengthen the ecological restoration actions that have already been developed in the Rio do Peixe Hydrographic sub-basin region.

With 16 days of mobilization, the campaign aims to reach individuals, companies, and institutions committed to protecting the biome.
