Copaíba and Bioleve plan forest recovery of the “Silence Path”, in Águas de Lindóia
Copaíba recently visited Morro do Cruzeiro, in Águas de Lindóia/SP. The visit was accompanied by Bioleve, which is a partner in the initiative to restore the “Path of silence”.
The “Path of silence” is a path that connects the Nossa Senhora das Graças Church to the Christ monument, at the top of Morro do Cruzeiro, in the Águas de Lindóia resort. This was an old pilgrimage route, made on foot, which is currently being revitalized. This initiative, by the Environmentalist Groups Ipê Amarelo and Amigos da Água, brings this attraction to the municipality of Águas de Lindóia again, bringing together religious, environmental and historical aspects in a single movement that generates respect and appreciation for some of its natural and cultural beauties. Of this city.
The forest recovery of the area is part of the restoration of the Way. Copaíba is supporting this action by donating seedlings of native trees that are being planted in the surroundings of the Path.
In addition to the seedlings, the technical project for forest restoration in this area was prepared by the Copaíba team and delivered to those responsible for this initiative. In all, 1,000 seedlings of native Atlantic Forest trees will be planted, which will provide shade and beautify the entire journey to the top of Morro do Cruzeiro.
