Certification with the Doar A+ Seal
Copaíba Environmental Association achieves new certification with Doar A+ Seal and reinforces commitment to transparency and excellence
Founded in 1999, the institution has been recognized for its impact on the restoration of deforested areas of the Atlantic Forest, in the south of Minas Gerais and in the Circuito das Águas Paulista
The Copaíba Environmental Association has just achieved, for the third consecutive time, certification with the Doar Seal in category A +, the highest level of excellence granted by Social Certifier. The recognition reaffirms the organization's commitment to transparency, good governance and efficient management of its resources, in addition to placing it in a select group of Brazilian institutions that meet rigorous quality standards.
The new certification is valid until 2027 and was obtained after a rigorous independent audit process, which evaluated more than 50 criteria related to the organization's structure, operations and social impact. The result proves Copaíba's alignment with the best practices of the Third Sector.
Flávia Balderi, one of the founders of the Association and who currently works as Executive Secretary and Coordinator of the Nursery, emphasizes that this achievement reinforces the work that has been developed by the team. “We have had this certification since 2019 and have once again achieved the A+ rating, which demonstrates not only the transparency and credibility of our work, but also the solidity of the institution,” she celebrates.
According to Flávia, in addition to validating the quality of internal management, the certification also strengthens the relationship with supporters and partner companies, who seek organizations committed to results and effective accountability. “Having this certification is a differentiator. Companies and donors want to associate with institutions that are transparently accountable and demonstrate consistency in management. This recognition brings not only credibility, but also motivation and strength to our team, because it is a direct reflection of our daily efforts in all areas: from governance to communication.”
With the new certification, the Association's name gains space on the public page of certified organizations, available on the new Selo Doar website: https://selodoar.org/organizacoes-certificadas/. In addition to reinforcing Copaíba's role as a reference in good practices in the socio-environmental sector, the achievement increases its capacity to attract new partnerships in favor of the restoration and conservation of the Atlantic Forest.
