This Sunday, the 21st, the “Rua Viva” action will be held and the Verde Novo project, carried out by Copaíba through Petrobras sponsorship through the Petrobras Socioambiental program, also confirmed its presence at the event. The action developed by the Socorro 2029 group is aimed at sustainability in the municipality of Socorro, with the objective of establishing a date of social interaction and leisure for the population and tourists of the city.

Verde Novo will carry out activities aimed at environmental education with families and especially children, but adults will also have important information about forest conservation and will be able to register to receive seedlings of native Atlantic Forest trees for free to reforest their properties.

The streets in the center of the city, Campo Salles and Treze de Maio, will be closed to the passage of cars, leaving them free for pedestrians. The population and tourists will be able to enjoy a community experience filled with cultural, educational, artistic and sports attractions. The event will start at 10 am.
