Last Friday, September 13, the Copa\u00edba Environmental Association celebrated its 25th anniversary in a memorable event that brought together directors, employees, supporters, authorities, associates, owners, volunteers and the community in general to commemorate the successful trajectory in favor of the conservation and restoration of the Atlantic Forest. The celebration, held at the XV de Agosto Social Club in Socorro-SP, featured memorable moments that recalled the history and achievements of the organization, in addition to casting an inspiring look towards the future.
\nThe evening began with a speech by the current president of Copa\u00edba, Camila Conti, who emotionally expressed her gratitude to everyone who has been part of this journey, praising the tireless work of volunteers, employees and partners who have helped build the history of the institution. She marked the moment by emphasizing that \u201cthis evening was designed to remember the past, strengthen the present and inspire the future\u201d. The institutional video was then shown, which brought to light the memory of the association\u2019s main projects over the years, highlighting the positive impact of its actions in restoring degraded areas, conserving biodiversity, participating in public policies and educational activities.
\nOne of the most special moments of the evening was the tribute to the four founders of Copa\u00edba: Tiago Sartori, Ana Paula Balderi, Fl\u00e1via Balderi and Richieri Sartori. They took the stage to receive recognition for their vision and dedication over two decades ago, when they took the first steps, together with their biology teacher and professor, Gerson Silveira, to create the Association we know today. The audience was moved as they recalled how the Copa\u00edba seed was planted and became the environmentalist reference it is today.
\nIn addition to the tributes, the event was also a special opportunity to meet people who were and are part of this journey. Between sharing stories, memories and learning, the reunion reinforced the feeling of belonging and continuity. This moment of sharing and institutional strengthening was marked by an atmosphere of friendship and cooperation, strengthening ties between different generations of employees, volunteers and partners.
\nThe companies supporting the event were also remembered with special thanks, reinforcing the importance of partnerships that enable the continuity of Copa\u00edba's projects. Bioleve, Padaria e Supermercado Sartori and many other companies were recognized for their commitment to the environmental cause.
\nCopa\u00edba\u2019s history is rich in remarkable figures: more than 1 million trees planted, approximately 713 hectares undergoing restoration and 4 million seedlings produced. These figures are just a sample of the impact that the Association has had throughout its activities. The organization has also been honored with important awards and recognitions, consolidating its position as one of the main references in ecological restoration in the region.
\nIn addition to remembering the past, the event was an opportunity to look to the future. In her speech, event planner Grazi Faria highlighted the importance of continuing to inspire new generations to engage in environmental issues, with a vision of the future that seeks to expand the reach of Copa\u00edba's actions and encourage community involvement in the protection of our natural resources.
\nThe celebration ended in style with a lively congratulations song, followed by a symbolic toast, which involved everyone present in an atmosphere of unity and gratitude.<\/p>\n

\nThe Association invites everyone to visit the Toten das Cores International Exhibition, which pays tribute to the institution's 25th anniversary and will be open to the public until October 5th, in the Hall of the Municipal Museum of Socorro-SP. The exhibition brings together works that celebrate biodiversity and the importance of environmental preservation, connecting art and nature in an inspiring way.<\/p>\n
