The event was divided into two moments, starting at the headquarters of the Association for the Preservation of the Environment and Life \u2013 Apremavi and ending at the headquarters of the \u00c7arakura Institute, both in the state of Santa Catarina.<\/p>\n<p>Representatives from 12 of the 16 Regional Units were present, in addition to the Executive Secretariat and the Coordination Council of the Pact. Today the Regional Units are made up of: Apremavi, Apoena, Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Mico Le\u00e3o Dourado, Cepan, Copa\u00edba, Dap, Eco Ocelot, Gamb\u00e1, Ibam, Instituto \u00c7arakura, Iracambi, Mater Natura, MV, Natureza Bela, Regua and Save Brasil. They all work in the restaurant sector, sharing information and creating links in this important role.<\/p>\n<p>The five days were full of activities, learning and important debates. The representatives were able to exchange information about the work they have been developing, share experiences, visit areas undergoing ecological restoration processes, plant native seedlings in the Mata Atl\u00e2ntica Municipal Park, in Atalanta (SC), and get to know up close the work developed by Apremavi and Instituto \u00c7arakura.<\/p>\n<p>Fl\u00e1via Balderi, Executive Secretary and representative of Copa\u00edba at the meeting of the Pact Units, said it was difficult to describe the relevance and satisfaction of having lived through those days. \u201cThere were many moments of learning, experiences, exchanges, contacts, welcoming, connection and sharing\u201d, comments Fl\u00e1via.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Pact<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>O <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><em><a style=\"color: #008000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pactomataatlantica.org.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pact for the Restoration of the Atlantic Forest<\/a><\/em><\/span> is a national movement that articulates and integrates actors interested in restoring the biome, inducing large-scale actions and results, with environmental, social and economic benefits.<\/p>\n<p>Established in April 2009, the Pact acts strategically by articulating public and private institutions, governments, companies, the scientific community and landowners to integrate their efforts and resources in generating results in the restoration and conservation of biodiversity in the 17 states of the biome.<\/p>\n<p>During the URs Meeting, the Coordinator of the Pact, Rubens Benini, who also represented the TNC, ended the cycle of statements by inviting the movement to continue growing and reach the goal of restoring 15 million hectares by 2050.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Durante os dias 24 a 28 de outubro, aconteceu o  [&#8230;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":11,"featured_media":6887,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[213],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-6886","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-restauracao-ecologica"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/copaiba.org.br\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/6886","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/copaiba.org.br\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/copaiba.org.br\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/copaiba.org.br\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/11"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/copaiba.org.br\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=6886"}],"version-history":[{"count":4,"href":"https:\/\/copaiba.org.br\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/6886\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":6892,"href":"https:\/\/copaiba.org.br\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/6886\/revisions\/6892"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/copaiba.org.br\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/6887"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/copaiba.org.br\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=6886"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/copaiba.org.br\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=6886"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/copaiba.org.br\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=6886"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
