During this period, more than 650 thousand seedlings were donated by SOS, through Viveiro Florestal Copaíba, benefiting many people and landowners who needed support to recover the forests on their properties.

Clickarvore aims to support initiatives to restore permanent preservation areas (APP) and legal reserves (RL), through the promotion and donation of seedlings of native forest species from the Atlantic Forest; contribute to forest restoration, allowing forests to exercise their ecological functions, in addition to mobilizing civil society to participate in forest restoration projects. To achieve these goals, Fundação SOS Mata Atlântica, with the approval of forest restoration projects, acquires seedlings from partner nurseries, which will be donated to rural landowners interested in participating in the program.

Periodically inspections are carried out in the areas where the planting was carried out. Inspections are essential to monitor the development of the areas over the years. Both Copaíba and SOS Mata Atlântica carry out this monitoring.

The result of this partnership work is the formation of 3,600,000 m2 of new forests. “It is gratifying to visit areas undergoing forest restoration and to be able to see that in a short time the seedlings, now trees, are already performing their ecological function, conserving the soil, animals and biodiversity itself”, comments the coordinator of the Copaíba Forest Restoration. , Ana Paula Balderi.

[1

post-4834","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-sem-categoria
["GET
