According to Fl\u00e1via Balderi, &quot;this record was achieved thanks to the team&#039;s work and the expansion of the nursery, which now has the capacity for up to 1 million seedlings per year.&quot;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Another highlight presented to the members was in <a href=\"https:\/\/copaiba.org.br\/en\/restauracao-florestal\/\">ecological restoration<\/a>, which reached the milestone of nearly 100,000 seedlings planted across 123 hectares. \u201cThis year was important because we managed to break this record in restoration, with almost 100,000 seedlings planted in the year, demonstrating the capacity and competence of [the project\/organization]. <strong>Copaiba<\/strong> &quot;In aligning partners and landowners in ecological restoration,&quot; said Ana Paula Balderi, Coordinator of Ecological Restoration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">THE <a href=\"https:\/\/copaiba.org.br\/en\/educacao-ambiental\/\">environmental education<\/a> It also stood out with over a thousand students participating in the programs, and the approval of two new projects with specific resources to expand activities with students from the Camanducaia River basin.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Planning for 2026<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of the main actions planned for 2026 is the start of construction on the Ecological Education Center, which will provide more structure and comfort for Environmental Education activities. In addition to meeting the demands of our own ecological restoration projects, we intend to increase the sale of seedlings, and with that, also increase institutional revenue so that we can continue to expand our positive impact in the region,\u201d said Fl\u00e1via, Nursery Coordinator.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Other advancements were planned for 2026 regarding resource mobilization. The focus is on strengthening institutional programs that support ecological restoration. \u201cIn 2025 we managed to close important new partnerships for the\u2026\u201d <strong>Copaiba<\/strong>, &quot;And we will focus on 2026 to expand and strengthen the Adopt a Forest program with current and new partners,&quot; said Nadine Toneli Cavalari, Resource Mobilization Coordinator.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Election\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The newly elected Board of Directors is composed of: Camila Conti as president; Gerson Silveira as vice-president; Celio de Morais, Fel\u00edcio Sartori, Francy Sanchez, Richieri Sartori and Tatiana Oliveira as directors.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The elected fiscal council members are: Glaucia Siloto S\u00edgolo de Souza, Givanildo da Silva, Rosianede Faria, and Rafael Conti.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Copaiba<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">THE <strong>Copaiba Environmental Association<\/strong> Copa\u00edba is a non-profit Public Interest Civil Society Organization (OSCIP) based in the municipality of Socorro (SP), which has been working since 1999 with the mission of conserving and restoring the Atlantic Forest in the basins of the Peixe and Camanducaia rivers.
